Start Your Day Before it Starts You
In this video, we’ll talk about why the first few minutes of your morning matter, how small routines can keep chaos from becoming the foreman, and why starting with intention does not require meditation on a mountaintop or waking up at 4:00 a.m. to admire your own discipline.
Have you ever opened your eyes in the morning and felt like the day had already filed a complaint against you?
Before your feet hit the floor, the phone is buzzing, the coffee maker is making suspicious noises, and somebody wants an answer to a question you were not emotionally prepared to hear before sunrise.
That is what happens when you don’t start your day. Your day starts you.
It grabs the reins, chooses the direction, and takes off before you’ve checked the cinch, found your hat, or remembered why you walked into the kitchen.
Most times starting your day right just means getting quiet, deciding what matters, checking your cinches, and starting the day before it decides to drag you behind it.
